Call me bella

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Isabella "Bella" Kovar seeks a needed catharsis through the written word and the art of storytelling. She's explored prose, poetry, screenwriting, nonfiction, and any other sort of written expression that she can. Vulnerable, whimsical, and instinctual, Bella's passion and love for her craft only heightens as the years trickle on. She’s a recent graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, where she studied Creative Writing and Film Production while simultaneously making lifelong friends. When she isn't writing, she enjoys making short films, hiking, cuddling with her Corgi puppy, and eating sushi between shifts at the restaurant she serves at. She's published a poetry chapbook with the critically acclaimed Bottlecap Press based in LA, as well as self-published a couple other collections on her own. Just for Show is her first novel, for which she is awaiting the right publishing opportunity and literary agent.

***Big fan of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth, Boygenius, and any book that will make her cry.
